MIGZ

MIGZ (Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Zadar) is the first international centre in Croatia for eduaction and certification in Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery.
We are certified centre by ESGE and operating under strict GESEA (Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment) principles which include simulation-based training (dry lab) to master skills, objective validation via standardized tests (LASTT, SUTT, HYSTT), and ensuring patient safety by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and operative performance.

MIGZ is founded in Zadar with already established multidsiciplinary team of experienced surgeons and medical staff. Our team include founders and surgeons dedicated to the state-of-the-art Minimally Invasive Surgery: director dr. Luka Matak and chief mentor dr. Frane Markulić, as well as one of the leading world experts in laparoscopic suturing and GESEA Centres Coordinator – dr. Istvan Argay.
Our team offers hands-on courses and workshops for advanced skill training with strong fusion of theoretical and practical knowledge that will upgrade your performance in operating room.
Here in Zadar we are proud for being first in Croatia to introduce, implement and teach V-Notes surgery, advanced IBS (Intrauterine Bigatti Shaver) hysteroscopy and new theories, techniques and knots in Caesarean Section surgery.
